   When I first unboxed this Pioneer system I was very excited…it looks awesome especially in white, thats where the excitement ends In went the Ipod touch 4 and music played, then stopped! The unit vibrates so much that it shakes the ipod from its dock and you have to keep pressing it back into position. Also the remote doesn’t control the iPod and many other features don’t work either, it appears only version 1 and 2 are supported and not the latest models! Right then onto CDs. Sound quality is ok crank the volume up a bit and the CD starts skipping!! Again the unit vibrates so much it causes the CD to skip (the volume isn’t that loud either)DVD picture quality on the screen via hdmi is excellent but the sound stage is far from good and the virtual surround sound makes dialogue sound thin. The iPod will not work through the hdmi output therefore you must run a basic composite (yellow) lead in addition the an hdmi cable to your tele
   I am keeping the unit because for £106 it makes a nice looking addition to my bedroom and will become my alarm clock..it will not replace a stereo system or a cinema system and although Bose is more expensive and offers less features I suggest you save up for one as the Pioneer will ulimately dissapoint!

   great stereo was looking at buying a BOSE WAVE system but are so expensive, so opted for the pioneer. this stereo is great does everything i want, supports all music formats, sounds great and brilliant value for money

   This has better bass but not very detail sounding as klipsch. DVD player is double plus to this dock. Buy this for bedroom or kitchen now b4 old stock runs out
